Once the decay has been removed we will prepare the filling resin. If you are opting for a composite resin filling (tooth-colored), then we will place the resin on your tooth in layers. Between each layer we will use a light beam to harden that layer. We will also shape the resin through the entire process to make sure it fits the tooth properly. Once this is complete, we will polish the filled tooth to help prevent wear.
